Rugby tourament guide for British Airways

Our brief

Creative agency, Synergy approached us as they were working with British Airways in their capacity as the chief sponsors of the 2009 British & Irish Lions Tour to South Africa. The brief required an exclusive guide to the rugby games that would prove invaluable to hospitality guests for the duration of the tournament.


Starting with our popular booklet and PopOut map combination, we redesigned this format to include a lanyard clip so the product could be carried around the neck whilst on the move, enabling information to be available at their fingertips.

Hospitality guests had a portable product packed with information on all the tournament venues, local tourist information and travel advice, plus a section for autograph hunters, and a useful PopOut map of South Africa showing the stadium locations. The client was delighted as the PopOut carried the branding of British Airways and was 100% retained by the recipients as a souvenir of their special trip.
